I've been a customer of Raw Juce for a while and have always enjoyed their acai bowls, which is why this experience was so disappointing. While eating an acai bowl from the East Boca location, I found what appears to be a broken piece of a blender blade mixed into my food. I didn't notice it until I was nearly finished with the bowl. Thankfully I saw the metal fragment before swallowing it, because it was sharp enough that it could have caused a serious injury. What is even more frustrating is that I contacted the company directly, provided photos, and gave them an opportunity to address the situation. It has now been nearly a week and I have yet to receive any response. I understand that mistakes can happen, but finding a sharp metal object in food is a significant safety issue. At a minimum, I would have expected an acknowledgment and some communication regarding what happened. I hope this review encourages the company to take food safety concerns more seriously and improve their responsiveness when customers report potentially dangerous issues.

I wanted to love coming here for sooo long and gave it many chances because I LOVE fresh juice and enjoy trying different juice spots. But unfortunately my experiences haven’t felt very welcoming. As a young female coming in alone, a friendly atmosphere really matters. Over time I stopped coming because I was often not greeted warmly and was occasionally met with unfriendly expressions from staff, which made the experience feel uncomfortable. I’m always friendly when I come in, so the cold energy has been disappointing, especially since I do enjoy their juices.. Because of this I’ve found myself going to Pure Green more often, where the atmosphere feels more welcoming.

This place is going downhill due to the workers inconsistency/taking short cuts. Every time I order a smoothie it either comes perfect or extremely liquidity like juice. Today my smoothie was delivered and a part of it was missing. It was also mostly just almond milk! This has been an on going problem for the last year. I guess this is what you get for hiring young kids who don’t really care to follow the recipe. A shame because I’ve met one of the owners while I was there a few years back and they take pride in the business. These new employees just suck honestly! Please sit down with the employees and make sure everyone understands to follow the recipe accurately each time they make an item. This is extremely frustrating and them being lazy!!

I’ve been coming to this raw juice spot for a couple of years and have usually had good experiences, which is why this was especially disappointing. Today I ordered an açaí bowl to take home, and when I opened it, there was little to no açaí in the blend. It tasted much more like a banana-based smoothie than an açaí bowl. I had really been craving a rich açaí flavor, so this was a letdown. While I normally wouldn’t make a big deal out of one off day, the price point for these bowls makes this hard to overlook. Unfortunately, this experience has made me question whether I’ll be returning.

Had bowls and smoothies delivered to campus for our pre serve and pass practice so I can’t speak to the location/inside. The service in keeping the açaí bowls and smoothies cold and fresh was top tier. I got the omg protein bowl. The base was incredible and included bananas, dates, oats, protein, almond butter and milk. Then it was topped off with fresh fruit, almond butter and honey. Quality ingredients, tasted super fresh. One of the best açaí type bowls I’ve had.
